We are not required to appoint a data protection officer, as our business is too small for that obligation. We answer data protection questions ourselves, simply write to the address above.
What this is about
This policy tells you which personal data we process when you visit our website, and why. We keep it short on purpose, because our website processes very little: there is no analytics tool, no tracking, no advertising networks, no social media buttons and no embedded maps or videos.
Your rights
At any time you have the right to obtain information about the data we hold about you, to have incorrect data corrected, to have data erased, to have processing restricted, to data portability, and to withdraw consent you have given with effect for the future. Please contact us at the address above.
Right to object: where we process data on the basis of a legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR), you may object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht), Promenade 27, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
Visiting the website and server log files
Each time a page is called up, your browser transmits technical data that our host stores in log files: the address requested, date and time, the volume of data transferred, a message on whether the request succeeded, browser type and version, operating system, the page visited before, and the IP address.
We need this data so the website can be delivered at all, and to detect attacks and faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We do not combine this data with other sources and do not evaluate it on a personal level. Our host deletes the log files after seven days at the latest.
Hosting
Our website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM, Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The provider processes the data named above on our behalf and solely on our instructions, based on a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.
Encryption
This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (TLS, recognisable by the https in the address bar and the padlock symbol). Anything you enter into a form therefore cannot be read by third parties on its way to us.
Typefaces
The typefaces used on this website are stored on our own server and delivered from there. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other third party for them, so no IP address is transmitted anywhere else.
Contact form
You can send us an enquiry using the form on the home page. First name, surname and email address are required; phone number, your area of interest and your message are optional. We use these details only to answer your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry concerns or prepares a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The details are not stored in a database but sent as an email to our mailbox. As a technical safeguard, a copy goes to the service provider who looks after our website and is bound by our instructions as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. We keep enquiries for as long as it takes to deal with them and delete them afterwards, unless commercial or tax retention periods require otherwise.
Enquiries by email or phone
If you write or call us directly, we process your details solely in order to deal with your request. The legal basis and the retention period correspond to what is stated above for the contact form.
Download area
Some of our documents sit in an area that can only be opened with an access code. There is no registration; we store neither names nor email addresses for this area.
Once you enter the access code, we set a strictly necessary session cookie so that you do not have to sign in again on every page. It contains nothing but a random identifier and is deleted when you close your browser at the latest.
To prevent the access code from being guessed automatically, we count failed attempts. In doing so we do not store your IP address, only a short, non-reversible fragment derived from it together with the time. That entry is deleted one hour after the last attempt at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of the area (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Cookies
The only cookie we set is the session cookie of the download area described above. It is strictly necessary for a function you have expressly requested and therefore does not require consent under § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. We do not set any cookies for analytics, marketing or advertising, which is why you will not find a consent banner on this website.
Links to other websites
In a few places we link to third-party sites, for instance to our production partner in Poland. We have no influence over their data processing. As soon as you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that site applies.
No automated decision-making
Automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever something changes on our website or in the legal situation. The version published here is the one that applies.
